Artist's Description
I fell in love with Mustangs well before I learned to drive. I could only see them at car shows and sought them out just to feel my heart race when I saw them. As an adult, I own a Mustang, but this photo is of a Mustang at a local car show. It still makes my heart race.
About Carrie Hannigan
Carrie first began to appreciate the perspective of a photographer through her mother's Minolta camera, which was all manual settings and relied on film. These early experiences taught her to really consider composition and lighting for just the right shot. Now, with a Canon DSLR, Carrie can take many more photos without the cost of film as a factor, yet those early experiences continue to influence composition decisions. While always ready to capture life from her unique perspective, Carrie most enjoys capturing details that a fast-paced lifestyle might otherwise overlook, whether in nature or urban landscape.
